Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process, activities, and personnel to carry out all team responsibilities with excellent customer service and efficiency. Ship out products in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Operate FedEx and UPS computers
  • Stage outbound packages for pick-up by commercial couriers
  • Pick-up and deliver mail.
  • Some computer related tasks along with loading and unloading trucks in a warehouse environment
  • Ensure management is advised of all important matters.
  • Maintain volume metrics.
  • Establish Service, Safety and Morale goals for the team.
  • Coach and develop personnel and effect process improvements to achieve higher levels of performance.
  • Actively manage the performance of team members including taking disciplinary action when warranted.
  • Oversee all operations-related job functions, which includes but not limited to Archival management, Central Receiving,
  • Inbound and Outbound shipments, and Invoice & Statement mailings.
  • Employ Business-planning and team performance goal tracking to ensure team is meeting or exceeding established goals and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ship and receive parcels and packages
  • Process inbound packages utilizing technology
  • Handle work order service requests into applicable format
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Pitney Bowes Mailing systems is preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years experience in an Office Services/ Warehouse environment
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Solid analytical skills with a high problem solving and process improvement orientation are crucial
  • Excellent Customer Service skills are required
  • Knowledge of Inbound and Outbound Shipping is preferred
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment such as pallet jack and server lift
  • Prior mailroom supervisory experience is highly desirable
  • Data entry experience combined with some knowledge of FedEx and UPS systems is preferred
  • Experience with HazMat shipping
