The Site Manager is responsible for providing leadership, operational support, ensures TMG Best Practices compliance and client satisfaction. This role is responsible for the training/educating of associates, monitoring operations to ensure compliance within organizational requirements.for performing general database management in support of client operations. Managing and giving daily guidance and direction to the Mail team, Shipping & Receiving Lead, and the General Services staff is a primary function of this role. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Balance daily workload, while supporting financial results by minimizing site overtime and labor costs. Assure all client SLA's are adhered to  and all requirements are met.
  • Work close with the onsite facility team to assure employee moves and transfers are completed same day of request.
  • Assist in preparation of annual employee appraisals and evaluating daily performance. May include coaching and counseling of an employee and providing constructive feedback and recognition to the teams as appropriate.
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities while resolving interpersonal conflicts and nurturing team work among the team.
  • Using various varieties of shipping and mailroom software, receive and prepare shipments for delivery to internal client associates while achieving on time delivery percentages.
  • In absence of the mail clerk, perform the functions of the personal mail center by providing excellent customer service at the service window selling shipping services.
  • Interviews and hires candidates for open positions.
  • Act as floater during peak volumes to ensure timely service levels. Must be able to perform the work of the team they oversee.
  • Assure mailroom and warehouse is kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Working with the General Services Coordinator, inventory and order supplies for the mailroom.
  • Ensure adherence to business guidelines, safety & security procedures.
  • Keep manager informed daily of operational efficiencies and potential problems.
  • Analyze and evaluate best practices for Freight and transportation for the client. Acts as the broker for shipments between North America sites.
  • Collect data for reports and assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
  • Utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, striving continuously to improve value
  • Perform duties and special requests as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have Associates Degree or 5 years of management experience in mail, copy, and/or office services.
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of mail and shipping and receiving services.
  • Excellent knowledge of US Postal, Fed Ex shipping and other shipping software as needed.
  • Fork lift certified required
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a high level of customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills
  • Able to set priorities and motivate others.
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changes and multi-task with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point presentations.
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to adhere and administer companies policies and procedures
  • A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required
  • Presentation skills
  • Assertive & resourceful; self-motivated; willing to ask questions & take initiative.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
