Under the direct supervision of the manager, the Office Services Associate will be working in a dynamic environment along with complying by necessary safety, handling and legal procedures. 

Provide  support  duties in the  running  of  the  day -to -day  operations of  the Alpharetta site.  Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following essential duties: 

  • Assist with all mail processing, distribution, and delivery:
  • Process pre-sorted mail and electronic mail, interoffice mail, parcels, faxes, research pieces, and returned
  • mail, and research mail not properly addressed
  • Inspect and report suspicious mail/package deliveries to management.
  • Distribute/deliver sorted mail, interoffice mail, parcels, and faxes to mailstops
  • Deliver courier and special mail requiring signature.
  • Pickup outgoing mail at mail stops and sort where applicable
  • Processing outgoing parcel shipments, special mail (certified, signature required, etc), first class mail, interoffice mail
  • Administer shipping systems web-enabled requests and track outgoing parcel shipments
  • Assist with file room operations Process rush file retrieval, archive files, attach mail to files, process file work orders and retrieval using Infoster
  • Complete and verify coversheets, file print requests, and file prep for delivery
  • Update file tracking information in required systems and/or databases.
  • Conduct secure document destruction/disposal, where applicable; Attach purge labels and prepare files for off-site records retention; Conduct on-site to off-site file purging activities consistent with client document retention policy.
  • Conduct missing file research.
  • Perform special projects related to file management activities
  • Perform audit and quality control checks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years customer service and office related experience preferred.
  • Intermediate Computer skills.
  • Strong detail and data entry skill set
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in the work environment.
  • Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team player and service-oriented; builds strong working relationships.
  • Handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to pass a background test.
