The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of assigned TMG operations. The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The Business Analyst will track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact TMG. The Business Analyst will be a Project Manager and lead a number of key projects for TMG and its clients. The Business Analyst will be the functional expert on the specified application(s) used for tracking metrics and SLA's.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists TMG Site Leadership in developing tactical and strategic products, services and/or programs to support the TMG's goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, etc.).
  • Works closely with TMG personnel and business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Develops effective reporting tools for the business unit.
  • Analyzes the business unit's activities and trends and compares analyses against the service standards and best practices.
  • Presents findings and works with the Site Leadership and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
  • Defines, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, end user test plans and other QA assessments.
  • Supports operational workload when needed in the event of absenteeism
  • Special assignments and other operational duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree is preferred; or equivalent experience in related field
  • Domestic travel is up to 30%
  • Possesses experience in a team environment by maintaining positive, productive relationships with co-workers, peers, management, and clients
  • Exceptional operational expertise including quality and six sigma process improvement and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical business needs with strategic directions
  • Ability to build strong internal and external business and customer relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytic, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
