Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail (e.g. letters, parcels, Courier, U.S. Postal, and interdepartmental) to appropriate recipient department mail drops and user areas.
  • Complete timely collection of outgoing mail in accordance to assigned schedules. Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment.
  • Track and maintain records and logs of signature controlled mail items. Perform accurate data entry as needed.
  • Deliver boxes and bulk mail items utilizing handtrucks to assigned customer receive locations. Collect any outgoing boxes for distribution.
  • Inspect all mail for suspicious/threating items
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year customer service and office related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in the work environment.
  • Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team player and service-oriented; builds strong working relationships.
  • Handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail.
