The Warehouse Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing technology projects, their cost, time and scope. Responsibilities include; Project Plans, Time Studies, Warehouse Relocations, Bench marking, Communication Plans, Allocating Tasks and setting Milestones.

Essential Duties and Functions: 

  • Leads and manages cross-functional process improvement projects and improvement initiatives. Identifies, suggests, and implements best practices to facilitate best solutions and methods to optimize processes in all business areas
  • Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems, and develops recommendations of how to proceed
  • Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other business and related projects

  • Contributes to development of functional strategy
  • May specialize in two or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, process-driven systems requirements
  • May be accountable for systems process analysis and design at a complex level, with focus on quality improvement, data management (including responsibility for data quality and the management of all automated processes and reports), and process improvement and/or re-engineering
  • Create & manage project plans
  • Define project schedules, project timelines ,allocate resources and monitor progress
  • Align project objectives with company goals, and make sure project team is clear on objectives
  • Deliver, install technology solutions and manage all documentation
  • Help project team with the design and development tasks
  • Lead process of issue identification and resolution
  • Monitor, manage scope and report on project progress
  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Conduct time studies and track deliverables
  • Support, direct and manage project team
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Comfortable with presenting to customers and high levels of management
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Adaptable and able to tolerate stress in a fast moving environment
