  • Schedules ongoing machine maintenance and ensures proper machine handling.
  • Knowledge of machine operation of the low to high-volume copiers.
  • Knowledge of GBC spiral binding, velo-binding, drill press operation, folding, cutting and collating.
  • Ability to select appropriate machines to run specific jobs.
  • Ability to ensure that quality and production standards are met.
  • Manage and staff Copy Center.
  • Provide DFS monthly production and services reports upon request.
  • Monitor, evaluate and produce according to schedule all digital print and finish work, including flyers, booklets, presentations and other material in a quality and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with client and customers on job requirements (including: supplies, due dates and quality checks).
  • Order copy supplies (paper, tabs, binders, etc.). DFS shall provide copy paper, tabs and binders.
  • Produce daily schedules of the completion of all digital jobs.
  • Produce daily schedules of the finishing requirements on all digital work.
  • Monitor and oversee all print jobs for accuracy (performing various Quality control checks) based on client requirements.
  • Deliver copy paper as needed.
  • Monitor and update workflow sheets based on job completion.
  • Perform or oversee all machine maintenance.
  • Assist in generating reports measuring production volumes, meter reads and billing totals.
  • Monitor inventory of all paper, products and supplies and report to Operations Manager.
  • Interface daily with various customers (either in person, telephone or email) on printing issues.
  • Deliver and pickup customer jobs, when necessary.
  • Make any recommendations to management on equipment upgrades or improvements.
  • Keeps Manager and Operations Manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems.
  • Resolves staff interpersonal conflicts.
  • Able to set priorities and motivate others.
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changes and multi-task.
  • Able to nurture or foster team work.
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities and high customer service skills.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have Supervisor experience in copy and finishing services.
  • Minimum 1 year print shop experience.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service and office related experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.
  • Computer knowledge with Windows OS, Excel and Spreadsheets.
  • Handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to effectively work individually and in team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Assertive and resourceful; self motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative be able to communicate clearly.
  • Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.
