The HR Assistant is a member of the People Operations Team and reports directly to the HR Manager. This position is responsible for providing direct support to the HR Department and employees regarding human resources related activities, processes and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answer main telephone line and respond to general HR questions, rerouting to the appropriate party when necessary.
  • Audit and process all Payroll change requests. Create employee transfer and promotion letters.
  • Research and monitor labor law updates. Work with HR Manager to implement measures to ensure compliance with nationwide employment standards.
  • Generate employee Refer-a-Friend and Silver Star award certificates.
  • Complete all employment verification requests in compliance with company policy.
  • Ensure all HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company procedures.
  • Assist People Operations and Recruiting team with various projects and reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • BS in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or other business-related concentration.
  • Minimum of 1 years of related HR or Customer Service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
